LMI Careers Podcast
The big media players are all investing time, creativity and money into podcasting. It's an agile way of telling stories, communicating and engaging. The Sounds app, Spotify and Apple podcasts all have huge uptake in podcasts.
Being part of a podcast, especially like this, demonstrates a USP.
Podcasting shows you to be a dynamic and progressive company that embraces a medium where personality can shine through.
It can deliver the character of the business to new and existing customers, suppliers and potential employees.
Unlike other media, it is an active and not passive listen; listeners are deeply involved with a podcast - they have chosen to listen and subscribe and it talks directly to them. It can be astutely targeted and the focused demographic of The Careers Podcasts speaks to GCSE / A level students and undergraduates / graduates too.
A podcast says that you are an innovator who delivers information, opinion and value in a way that engages conversationally.
The key platforms where a podcast are consumed are Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Acast and many others. With subscription from your users, you get loyalty and a direct line into them without the connotations of spam / junk email and mail.
It makes sure you cut through much of the marketing white noise that's out there and you're seen as an innovator and thought leader. A podcast is a chance to "own" an area of expertise and advice / guidance.
Podcasting cross promotes beautifully with social media posts. Clips and quotes can be built into Twitter / Facebook / Insta activity for a really joined up approach.
With podcast apps on mobile, you're able to get to your audience quickly and effectively and build a relationship with them that is exclusive to your brand.
